I will be 22 weeks pregnant on Tuesday, and I've been feeling kicks for the past three weeks or so. They've gotten increasingly stronger and more regular, and I even felt it from the outside once. My husband is trying so hard to feel one, but this girl wants nothing to do with it. The moment he puts his hand on my belly, she stops. Every time. Stubborn, this one.
My little one did that for a while. Eventually I would just randomly grab his hand and place it on me; took her by surprise and he got to feel her move. Don't worry there will be plenty of movement for him to feel later. It will look like something out of a sci-fi/horror movie - the alien moving under the skin.
ReplyDeleteExact same thing happened to me and my husband :) I think it took about three or four weeks before he felt the baby for the first time. And as Meghan says, there will be plenty of movement later on to both feel and see!
